Complimentary Consultations
Depending on the nature of your legal matter, an initial consultation may be available at no cost. Complimentary consultations are typically offered for:
- • Personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, bicycle accidents, and fatal accidents
- • Real estate transactions
- • Wills and estates
- • Business incorporations
Fee-Based Legal Services
Initial consultations for family law matters, civil litigation, and other areas of law are generally not offered free of charge. In some circumstances, brief consultations may be available at a reduced rate.
Certain services, including notary public services, commissioner of oaths, and guarantees, are typically offered at a flat rate. Discounts may be available for students of Medicine Hat College.
Independent legal advice for matters such as family property contracts, divorce disputes, traffic defence, and civil litigation is billed on an hourly basis.
